Iris Claus Ms. Iris Claus joined the IMF – Singapore Regional Training Institute in July 2022. She previously held economic advisory, policy, research, and editorial positions at the Journal of Economic Surveys, the IMF – Pacific Financial Technical Assistance Center, Asian Development Bank, New Zealand Inland Revenue, New Zealand Treasury, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and the Bank of Canada. Iris is Honorary Professor at the University of Waikato, a member of the Asian Economic Panel, and on the editorial board of Asian Economic Papers. She is founding Co-Editor-in-Chief of Reviews of Economic Literature—an academic-led, nonprofit collaboration among the editors and Stanford University Press to provide open access to scholarly research that is free of fees for authors and readers. Her current research interests are in public policy, modelling survey expectations, nature and natural capital in macroeconomic models, and Pacific economies. Iris holds a PhD in economics from Victoria University of Wellington. |
