Japan is the largest and longest-standing bilateral supporter of IMF capacity development and has supported the STI since its earliest days.

Singapore

As host of the STI, the Government of Singapore provides a central hub for IMF training of officials from the Asia-Pacific region.

The Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP) was established in 1992 to serve as the primary platform through which Singapore offers technical assistance to other countries.
